Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain our web application using Python.
Develop and maintain Python backend services.
Monitor the application and ensure problems are addressed and fixed.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of Python (Flask).
Advance in SQL (data modeling and structuring relational databases).
Basic knowledge of AWS Services (including, but not limited to ECS, Lambda, S3, Aurora RDS, SQS, and DynamoDB).
This role requires a candidate who works well in a collaborative team-based environment and is proactive and intrinsically motivated to go the extra mile.
Willingness to get new skills and learn new technologies.
Good command of English (B2+/C1).

The position requires cooperation with engineers from Pacific Time Zone - standups may take place at 7-8 pm in the evening and assumes monthly time shifts in 8 to 22 mode.

Nice to have:

Being open to other languages like Go, Java, Javascript, C#.
Knowledge of React/React Native/Golang.
If they are interested in AI/ML workflows/intents like Amazon Lex, IBM Watson, GCP.
