Project Overview:

Our team is growing and we're looking for talented Node.js developers. You will work in a dynamic environment, having the chance to impact the product aspects using multiple scalable, reliable platforms with several products. We are looking for developers with hands-on back-end and front-end experience that feel comfortable working in agile process and adhere self learning.

Our customer is a rapidly growing startup from Tel Aviv, that is building an ultimate Vacation Rental Platform  to support services for Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, TripAdvisor, Expedia and other property providers at vacation rental market.

Platform is developed using the latest technologies and frameworks, Node.js, Mongo, RabbitMq, Redis on the server side and React, Redux on the client side. We promote continuous learning and are open to learning and implement new things all the time.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement cool new features, services, and APIs;
  • Write reusable code and libraries;
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability;
  • Implement security and data protection;
  • Write tests and metrics monitoring modules.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, at least 3 years of professional experience with web enabled commercial application development;
  • Solid experience working with NodeJS (ExpressJS);
  • Experience with unit/integration tests using: jest, mocha, nock, chai, sinon;
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture and message brokers;
  • Experience with REST;
  • Experience with developement of microservices communication via queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka....);
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis);
  • Experience with ReactJs / Redux - nice to have;
  • Passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex problems and learning new technologies;
  • A team player with strong communication skills;
  • Intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced written and spoken English.
